In employment law, he has over the years been

involved in different types of employment

disputes. He has been heavily involved in major

equal pay cases, but also undertakes more general

cases relating to unfair dismissal, restrictive

covenants, injunctions and similar matters.


He has recently argued many large claims

concerning women's rights to equal pay. such

cases include,


Anderson v South Tyneside Council;

Warne v North Tyneside Council; Surtees v

Middlesborough Council;Bainbridge v Redcar

Council; Shepherd v North Yorkshire County

Council; Hamilton v GMB; and many similar

cases.
