He regularly advises on issues concerning

contracts and businesses. He has dealt with such

matters as the interpretation of contracts relating

to the forthcoming Olympic Games. He has been

involved in many cases concerning the meaning

of insurance policies and their application to

fire, theft and flooding. He has been involved

in copyright cases, such as those relating to

architect's plans. He argued the case concerning

the Bluebell's hit record "Young at Heart" and the

claim for joint copyright made by the violinist.

He advises upon employment contracts and

injunctions seeking to restrain former

employees from setting up in competition

or using confidential information. He also

undertakes work concerning partnership disputes,

particularly those relating to solicitors. He acts

in relation to the regular sort of business disputes

over sale of goods and similar arguments.
